Casanova (LeVert song)
"Casanova" is a 1987 single by LeVert. The song reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and number nine on the UK Singles Chart, their only top ten on either chart. The single also peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart for two weeks, becoming Levert's second number one on the chart.[1] It also peaked at number twenty-seven on the dance chart.[2] The song has also become a standard number for New Orleans brass bands following its popularization by the Rebirth Brass Band.[3] The song was featured in The Pick-up Artist film with Molly Ringwald.
The song was covered by Ultimate KAOS in 1997, whose version peaked at #24 in the UK but did not chart in the US.
